Foxfield Primary School is a large school with over 450 children from Nursery (age 3) to Year 6 (age 11) sitting on the border of Woolwich and Plumstead in London. We are a truly multicultural school made up of families with roots all over the world. We serve a community that is rich and varied in culture and religious background and we place a high value on the extensive language and cultural experiences our children bring to Foxfield.

We are an inclusive school and we believe that every child has the right to do well and enjoy school. Within Foxfield we have additional teachers and support staff who focus on ensuring every child can access the curriculum and do as well as they can.

Our children learn through a creative curriculum that has a strong focus on the arts; we use dance, music, drama and art as much as possible to make our lessons fun and interesting. Through our philosophy sessions we develop deep thinking skills and a greater understanding of our world.

We have a range of extra curricular activities that change termly, as well as offering affordable childcare from 7.50am to 6.00pm each day.

We know that technology will play an increasingly important role in our children’s futures and have invested a lot in the latest computers and accessories. These are used daily to enhance our curriculum and to help develop the skills needs that will be needed in the workplace when our children grow up.

We also offer a range of classes throughout the year for parents and carers so that they can develop skills for themselves and learn about the latest techniques for helping their own children to learn.
