Our Work

This is a poem from 3 Oak.

Inspired by James Berry the children of 3 Oak have created a personal poem about the area they live in. Each line of the poem is from an individual child in the class. We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed writing it.

Woolwich is!

Woolwich is a place where I buy my clothes and shoes and toys and make- up.

Woolwich is very noisy and you can smell a lot of things.

Woolwich is nice because it has lots of different things.

Woolwich IS noisy!

Woolwich is a place that has lots of food and supermarkets.

Woolwich also has lots of shops.

Woolwich is a beautiful place to buy a game and shoes.

Woolwich is where I see fireworks and shops open all the time.

Woolwich has a ferry that takes you across the Thames.

Woolwich has a ferry that takes cars and people to the other side of the river.

Woolwich is where I go to school.

Woolwich is where my school is.

Woolwich is where I live.

Woolwich is a wonderful place to go.

Woolwich is a place where you can work, eat, live in and get a job.

Woolwich has loads of nice houses, but it’s really busy.

Woolwich is where our school is and where people live.

Woolwich has loads of friendly people.

Woolwich is on the River Thames.

Woolwich has the Thames Barrier which looks like a boat sailing.

Woolwich has lots of boats sailing down the river.

Woolwich is a very popular place where you might find someone famous.

Woolwich is where you will see lots of friendly people.

Woolwich is where you can make nice friends.

Woolwich is a nice place to live.

You can go to other places that are not in Woolwich from the train station.
