To celebrate the end of our Diversity Week, we are really excited to announce that we will be holding our first Foxfield Festival on Friday 22nd June 2018.
We would like to invite you to come and take part in our exciting event where there will be cultural dance and music performances from around the world, and food from different cultures. Children in year 6 will be selling food and drinks for £1 per plate and 20p per drink. It will take place in the Key Stage 2 playground (small hall if weather is bad) at 3.15pm till 4.15pm.
You will need to collect your children from their usual collection points then make your way to the Key Stage 2 playground for the festival. All parents will be leaving from the Key Stage 2 gate after the event has finished.
Also on this day, we would like to invite all children to wear clothes that represent their cultural background or the colours of their national flag to school, however, no football kits please.
We would also love to see parents and carers dress in their cultural clothes at the festival to show how diverse our school community is. If you are interested in bringing in food from your culture for the festival, please get in touch with Ms Ravue, who will be holding a meeting on Monday 11th June at 2.45pm – 3.15pm.
Please use the new Burrage road entrance and Ms Ravue will meet you at the main reception area.
